Hollywood Beach has managed to retain the “Old Florida” flavor and is family friendly while corporate America is trying to take hold. The one-of-a-kind broadwalk is populated with unique mom-and-pop hotels, souvenir shops and family owned restaurants and bars, mixed in with private beachfront residences. It’s broadwalk stretches for 2.5 miles and welcomes walkers, joggers, rollerbladers and bikers with their own dedicated bile lane. It offers a bandshell with free concerts throughout the year. Charnow Park has a children’s water playground, an exercise station, handball/paddleball courts and covered rest areas. The broadwalk also offers public art displays, and many other attractions. Other popular features are plentiful public restrooms, water fountains, relaxing rest areas, benches and ample parking.
